My turtle is dead

My turtle that I was nursing back to health after my brother starved it half to death passed away this evening.

He was alive only hours ago when I went over to take the little buddah thing out of his tank and popped his head out of his shell to look at me.

An hour ago I looked in on him to give him a treat and he was dead in his water dish.

I hate my brother for what he's done to this innocent life. I gave him a few more months of life. But now he's gone from me.

I once wrote a journal entry on how nice it was to have pets. How they fill something in us.

Now =nightshade13 's frog has also passed away this same night and under simmilar conditions.

All we can think of is the hole that is left in their absence.

It dosn't matter if its just a frog or a turtle. When you care for something you grow to love it.
